Most custom AI and AI automation quotes start with a calendar link. Ours start with a written plan and a number.
Describe the work at /advisor. We send a build plan and a package price inside one business day. A call is not required.
Why most quotes force a call
A discovery call is how a lot of shops invent a number. The range on the site is wide on purpose. The real quote waits until you are on Zoom, answering the same questions you already typed into a form.
That process favors the vendor’s calendar, not your decision. If the price only appears after a call, you cannot compare it to the published ladder, and you cannot walk away with a document.
We publish prices. We answer in writing. If the job is a bad fit for custom, the plan will say buy SaaS instead.
What a written plan + number means
You get a scoped build plan for the path you described, and a number from the published packages — not a vague “starting at” that resets after a call.
The written plan covers:
- What we would build first, and what we would leave alone
- Which published package the work maps to
- What is not included (model usage, SaaS you already pay, optional retainers)
- Ownership in plain terms: custom code, configuration, and data
It is a decision document. You can read it, forward it, or ignore it. You do not have to book time to see the price.
What to send
Enough for a useful number. Not a polished RFP.
- The leak — what is getting dropped (missed calls, cold quotes, retyped paperwork, posting that ate the week)
- Tools you already use that should stay
- Volume if you know it (calls per day, leads per week, jobs in flight)
- What “done” looks like for the first system
Screenshots and rough notes are fine. The advisor asks a short set of questions so the draft is not empty. Production systems of the same class are on /proof.
Price bands
The number on the written plan comes from this ladder — the same one on how much custom AI costs and /pricing. We do not invent a private menu after the form.
| What | Price |
|---|---|
| Smallest focused build | from $2,500 |
| AI phone answering | $3,500 + $500 / month |
| Capture, qualify, follow up | $4,500 |
| AI website and assistant | $6,500 |
| Automation sprint | $7,500 |
| Ongoing support and tuning | $2,500 / month |
| Advisory, as needed | $185 / hour |
What you own
USA Pro AI assigns the custom code, configuration, and data to you. You do not own foundation models or third-party APIs. Support is optional; the build does not lock when a retainer ends.
Full plain-English version: Do you own the code when a company builds your AI?
